When To Book Your Maternity Session

Niagara Ontario Maternity and Siblnig Photography.jpg

Sometimes mamas tell me they don't want a maternity session the second time around. I get that. It can feel like this stage in their lives has already been captured. Or maybe they don't feel as beautiful as they did the first time. Sometimes they're just too darn busy.

BUT, the thing is, it's a great opportunity to connect with your children. To talk to them about the new baby, encourage that excitement, and make them feel so special.

Then you can add the images to the pages of a book that you can flip through with her like a story.

Your family is going through so many changes. This is your last chance to be photographed as little family before your new bundle arrives.

Not to mention how amazing it feels as a mom. You are beautiful, you are gorgeous, you are radiant as you carry a special little one into the world. You feel their kicks, you know when they are restless and you’ve heard the sound of their heartbeat. Let’s capture this season for how beautiful, tender and exciting it is.

When is the best time to reserve my session?

The best answer to this question is today.  If you’re expecting a little one, it’s best to let me know right away, so I can ensure there’s a spot reserved for you here in the studio.  I will do my best to accommodate you, but wouldn’t you rather know for sure that it’s all taken care of?

How far along should I be on my session date?

I usually recommend that my clients be photographed at 32 weeks.  This will allow your baby bump to show nicely but will still ensure your comfort.

How do I reserve my date?

I cannot wait to meet you.  xo

Tanya’s Maternity Album

Hey there mama, I'm Karen Byker. I live in my hometown of Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. I photograph through all the stages motherhood - pregnancy, newborn, toddler and children well into their teen years.

I am a mother of four that understands what it’s like to be busy, but I've learned how to embrace and enjoy the beauty of it.

I have helped hundreds of mamas to slow down and create artwork so they can remember these special times. Let's chat about documenting the beauty through your chaos.
