Studio Safety Measures

Safety is #1 for all of us right now. I'm taking all precautions I can to maintain a sterile environment at my studio so that my littlest clients and their families are protected. Here are the health and safety measures that I'm following in the studio to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Health Measures

Before each session, I'll regularly monitor my temperature. I ask that clients check their temperature too before coming to the studio. An air purifier will be running constantly. Disposable gloves and masks are kept on hand. I will be happy to wear both during the session if that’s what you would prefer.

Personal Hygiene

I wash my hands thoroughly before and after each session. Hand sanitizer is also kept out in the shooting area at all times. Please ensure you wash your hands well for at least 30 seconds before leaving your house.

Studio Cleaning Policy

Before and after each session, the studio is deep cleaned. I sanitize every surface that can possibly be touched before and after sessions so that germs aren’t spread between clients. All surfaces are wiped with disinfectant wipes. Every backdrop, wrap, and prop used during the session is washed/sanitized and any clothing that was worn is washed. Clothing options will be chosen and laid out before the shoot using my online wardrobe catalog.

One Session A Day

I will only be scheduling one studio session a day to ensure ample time for thorough sanitization and cleaning. For the time being, sessions will be limited to immediate family only.

Sick Policy

My studio has a strict no-sick policy. Clients are required to disclose and reschedule the session if their child or anyone coming to the studio has had a fever or any other symptoms such as cough, runny nose, or vomiting in the last 24 hours. To reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible. There is no fee to reschedule.

If you're thinking about booking a session, feel free to reach out. I’d love to chat with you.

Hi there, I'm Karen! I am obsessed with newborn baby yawns, giggling kids, and fancy flavoured tea. I'm a mama of four who understands the busyness of everyday life and I've learned how to embrace and enjoy the beauty of it through lifestyle photography. I know what it’s like to look back on my children’s first years and feel like they flew by so quickly. I don’t want any other mamas to forget what their baby’s little fingers and toes looked like all curled up. My hope is that I can help you create albums and prints to serve as physical reminders of these sweet times throughout your baby’s early years. Contact me for info.
