STORYWALLS
Many of my clients choose to enjoy their artwork on the walls of their homes. We start with a few pieces and add more over time, creating a focal point that tells your story. As your child reaches milestones and as your family grows, your gallery can too. Whether your space is large or small, we can design it beautifully.
The beautiful thing about wall art is how it can showcase the growth of your baby, and your family, over time. All of the displays below can be modified to fit a variety of wall sizes and spaces.
Let’s take a look at some examples…
Symmetrical Design
To be considered perfectly symmetrical, a design needs to have equally weighted visuals on either side. Symmetrical design allows you to draw attention to all areas of an image equally. Since this form of design is usually very structured and rigid in nature, it's referred to as formal balance.
Asymmetrical Design
Asymmetrical balance occurs when you have different visual images on either side of a design, and yet the image still seems balanced. To be considered asymmetrical, a design needs to have unequal visual weight on either side, but those unequal visuals need to balance each other.
Grid Design
The grid gallery wall combines the elegance of traditional gallery walls with sleek modern lines for an instantly luxurious interior. Symmetry and clean lines convey a minimalist, modern vibe, but gallery wall grids are also a little traditional. All of the portraits come together to look like one big statement piece.
