Meaningful Family Photos I Guarantee You'll Love
I’ve been a photographer since 2005. Throughout my journey, I have learned and enjoyed many different photographic styles.
One of my favourite things is documenting families as they spend time loving each other. There's something about the connection between people that I can't stop myself from documenting.
There is something about the way a husband looks at his wife, married for many years and still deeply in love. Something about brothers and sisters look at one another, mischievous and connected like they just know. There is something about the way people’s faces light up when they’re with the ones they love, when they are with one another.
We live in such a connected age where we have access to all the information and all the people we could ever dream up or want. We scroll through social media more often than some of us would enjoy admitting. And we’re connected. We know what’s going on. But in all that connectedness, there is something beautiful that happens when people connect with one another face to face and skin to skin.
You can see it singing in their eyes, written across their cheeks and dancing all over their laughter. It is the beauty of being seen and known by another human being. It is the unfolding of being loved completely.
And isn’t that one of the most gorgeous things we could ever capture? Isn’t that a legacy we want to leave? Isn’t that something to be celebrated? I believe so. These are the meaningful images that I guarantee you'll love. Images that show real connection, genuine relationships and people just being their adorable selves.
About This Family Session
The super cute young woman in the stripes - that's Shannon, one of my co-op students from this past semester. Her fun family and I just loved our time down at the beach in Grimsby! We played lots of games and joked around together. They were so easy-going and natural in front of the camera. We created images that show connection but also showcase what everyone looked like at this time in their lives. This was their first professional family session, and they totally rocked it!
