And those moments we capture in my studio help you let go of each milestone as it passes, in order to embrace the next one.
Sometimes, it takes a little extra encouragement to get you and your family comfortable in front of the camera. That’s all a part of how I serve you too. I help you find and connect back to the WHY of capturing your family’s story.
Family Spotlight
It was wonderful to welcome Jayde, Steve and daughter Sophia to the studio. This was Jayde’s first maternity session, so we pulled out all the stops with hair, makeup, and lots of wardrobe options!
We made sure everyone felt loved and appreciated by doing games with Sophia, and having her interact with the baby in Mom's tummy. I asked Jayde and Steve what their new baby's name will be to focus on the excitement of this new addition.
The Chakja family is creating a story wall, starting with two printed portraits from this maternity session. We'll add newborn portraits to it to tell their family’s story. We’re also starting a first-year baby book! We'll fill this heirloom album with their favourite images from this maternity session and future sessions.
Jayde returned for her newborn session in January and I'll be sharing those images soon on the blog!

To let you truly enjoy the session, I take care of everything for you, Mama. There is a beautifully curated wardrobe of clothes to choose from to help you feel comfortable and confident. My makeup and hair stylist will help you get ready for the day in a style that lets your inner beauty shine.
You and your loved ones will settle into the session and feel care-free. You’ll play with toys, encourage one another, jump on the bed, give hugs and kisses, maybe even build a little fort. It’s all about creating an ideal and memorable experience for you.
Your family is beautiful
Just as they are! I promise that you can forget your anxieties about your kids when you’re at my studio. Reflections is about welcoming you as you are (and we’re prepared for kids).
The focus will be on your family, as we imagine what your newest addition will grow up to be like, play with your oldest child and laugh with your partner. The session is set up to allow you all to relax and be your true selves.
